Just thought I would do another "What's in my purse" blog and it varies a bit. I really need to start documenting when I change out my purses. I notice I like carrying around my "Andy Warhol" messenger bag when it's the cold season. I never really liked Andy Warhol as an artist, I KNOW I KNOW. But on bags and t shirts, he's a genius! Total pop culture love. As a result, I feel weird carrying Andy's portrait on my side always. It attracts people that adore Mr. Warhol. He would appreciate my love hate relationship, I'm sure.
And yes, I really carry the grocery tote everywhere because I'll forget it if I don't (ADD win!). It's comes in handy too! My favorite things about the bag, the quote on the arm "I am a deeply superficial person." on metallic silver lining. The coin purse and the latch to attach keys. My most favorite is the side of the bag. It's raised print that feels nice to run my fingers over.
Bag: Loop NYC Andy Warhol "Self Portrait" messenger tote. From top left: CYMA grocery bag, keychains; Ugly Dog, Domo Kun from Kiddie Land, hello kitty backpack charm, Genuine keychains, Hello Kitty in zebra costume, and pink octopus, Sketch Pad, 8 GB purple ipod w/ Skullcandy headphones, Fafi for MAC bag, and purple aviators from Forever 21.
Not in Pictures: Tampons and Blackberry Tour 9630. Forgot or just didn't include them in photographs. :P
I'm sleepy! Did some edits to show you so that my last post of the first photo wasn't so random looking! lol The couple at the Whack a Mole was funny because I saw them later, he was carrying the woman on his shoulders. It was challenging shooting this time around because it was so crowded and almost unenjoyable! But we managed to have a good time. And I enjoy the challenge of shooting fireworks every year. Anyway, I am documenting fireworks as much as I can because I know that any time they could take it away from us! ha ha ha
I got a neat brace from the store, since I managed to sprain my ankle. I wear it to keep my ankle from attempting to turn so I'm not in more pain. But I wanted to show you all my brace instead of think about "the incident of massive fail." I will share more later, but for now, bye! PS: Ignore my ugly feet. They are scary, I know!
Tom's band, Rockzilla played tonight in Garner, NC. Which is next door to us, so it's not a far trip. Anyway, It's a nice place and the food is good. It's got a menu similar to Hooters. Salads, Burgers, and Sandwiches. I didn't photograph a ton but I had fun tonight! I just caught glimpses of what tonight offered. I enjoy photographing people when they don't expect or know it. I just want to capture a moment unseen to a camera. I'm sort of obsessed with it. But how cool is the lighting on those motorcycles!
My intention when I colored my hair was go to a bit lighter, and I wanted to try a light brown. I did it and HATED IT! It had a lot of gold tones which just washes my skin out. So the before picture I couldn't go out without trying to break up the terrible color from my face. I had the red dye for 3 years now and decided to use it since I never opened it. It's Special Effects Cherry Bomb! It came out brighter than I expected! The bottom photo is a more accurate photo of what my color would like in fair lighting. The red dye was a dream to work with, I had to use a brush to apply it and it just worked out so well. It's much easier to work with than their darker dyes. Well, that's how I became a redhead and I love it because I get to use fun makeup!
We had to drive all the way around Sneads Ferry because of a hit and run from where we normally come in at, because of that, I got to see this beautiful sunrise! I photographed it, even though I was tired and very happy I did! How lucky were we to sit on the dock and see that? (Though I was laying on my side and back most of the time when I was photographing these! ha ha!) After these photos, the light was in and you couldn't see the clouds after that.
This place looks really like some attraction you would see at myrtle beach. The inside had a lot of random things. There was a pulley, bed of nails, bubble lab, sound lab, mind relax brain games and simulators. I didn't take many pictures because I wanted to experience the place and not photograph it much. The highlight was OBVIOUSLY the bubble lab! ha
Note: I'm wearing a $12 coat from Forever 21, YAY! It's very Psycho Circus-y. haha
It was a lot of fun to photograph even with it being a small group. They played a catch game with a twist, you have to keep hooping! There were people with lots of experience, little and kids with no hoop experience just enjoying themselves! I got to photograph the drum circle! Woo! But the hoop jam is really fun and a new way to get outdoors! (nudge nudge)
