Nicole Carina said she wanted to try the place since it was a place dedicated to making crepes. I still say the Raspberry Chicken crepe is their best one I've had so far. I had the stuffed french toast crepe. Tasted like French Toast, but with a weird thin thin layer of bread. I got it stuffed with banana which kind of makes it a sugary delight. I wasn't expecting it to be a good combo, but wasn't bad! Just okay. So Raspberry chicken, FTW.
We went to the Chocolate exhibit at The Natural Science museum. I love coming here. The exhibit is extended there for two weeks then it moves on. We went to the history museum and casually travelled it. The exhibit doesn't allow any photography so the ONLY pictures I took were the Chocolate cushions they had you sit on to watch the little movies. SO CUTE! Not made for comfort, though.
Then, SNAKES! After that, we went to the history museum and we laughed at the little kids recreations of historical time periods. (More like, we were entertaining the thought of their dad pushing their young one away screaming "THIS YOUR PROJECT, DO YOU WANT IT DONE WELL!??? DOOO YOU??) I found one REALLY funny because it was extremely realistic and morbid for a kid in elementary school to do. So.. I photographed it! So check it out, there's blood EVERYWHERE! Awesome. Just wanted to point this out.
Yesterday's clouds were real heavy looking. I felt like I could reach out and pick it up. But today's evening clouds are all fragile and what artists want to paint. Beautiful sunset!
I love eating Korean food at Waba on hillsborough street. They are nice and the food is wonderful. I had the pork bulgogi. Spicy! I like to sit by the windows. And I am drinking at the bubble tea shop. I had lavander alvacado milk tea. With soy milk! Ha ha
My alternate universe family(Eric and Deb's family) came into town and we went to The Gourmet Factory. And they apparently have the macroni grill thing going on. Here is what we created.
I have never had crepes before, so I employed my friend Eric to investigate. We went to Coffee and Crepes in Cary to try some. You go and there are three categories: Breakfast, Savory and Sweet crepes. My first crepe, I went savory and got the Raspberry Chicken (and croscous as a side), which says is their best seller. It's REALLY good. It's a good balance of sweet and savory. Very good. The sweet crepes are okay. Not great. I didn't eat my Nutty Apple crepe with ice cream because I have dairy intolerance. But I think it would have been better if it had ice cream.
Look how different things look from two different places at a concert. The lawn, then the sound booth. This was motley crue both times.
We stopped at dunkin donuts and I got the bavarian kreme. Its Boston kreme but without Boston. Yeap.
Since I have sprained the ankle, my activities are limited to the house. I just moved to tom's chair all propped up for my ankle. And my most productive thing I did? Paint my nails blue. Ha ha
This morning. I never seen it so clear outside at dawn.
