I forgot to show you all, had one side shortened to make the asymmetry more noticeable.
It was a lot of fun to photograph even with it being a small group. They played a catch game with a twist, you have to keep hooping! There were people with lots of experience, little and kids with no hoop experience just enjoying themselves! I got to photograph the drum circle! Woo! But the hoop jam is really fun and a new way to get outdoors! (nudge nudge)
As a child, I was always intrigued by the slingshot. Don't mistake me, I enjoyed my barbie doll dream houses, polly pockets, and makeup just as much as the next girl. But I always had a touch of a tomboy streak. I enjoyed climbing a tree and dreamed of having a treehouse to look down to other people from above, got my knees scrapped and hands dirty with the boys. So when I was doing my "Wal Mart inventory check" I came across a slingshot. I felt that child inside that said "GET IT NOW." and I kept going on and on about how I always dreamed of using a slingshot but never got to. Yeah. So I have a slingshot. I didn't even know it had a arm rest..thing to keep your hand steady. How neat is that? (Note: Thank god I love to collect goggles, right?)
And I had a big dinner, oysters and shrimp. I caused total devestation on my food.
If you had to be named after one of the 50 states, which would it be?
Wyoming! I don't know why, but that's the first one that popped into my head. I can't get it out either. hahaha I have no emotional attachment to the state, never been there. But Weird Al makes a reference to it in one of his songs. :)
I haven't done any full videos because, having some computer trouble, but one day! :D I'm working on multiple hoops, mostly just playing around with it and I just figured this move out an hour ago. So I'm excited and documented it the first time! You can tell in the video I'm uncomfortable with it because well, it's physical and gets you sweating fast! haha But I'm psyched!
I think I like it but want it a wee bit shorter. Wanted a little change.
I got a new phone to document with! This is sort of a follow up to Tom's blog about this! haha I just finished figuring out the phone and customizing it to my wants and needs! I got the Blackberry Pearl 8130 in Pink! I have a: Flickr, Twitterberry, and Facebook applications. I'm happy with these so far. I love the T9 on this phone, extremely fast and smart! I got a new phone because I wasn't happy with Helio the phone was fine, but I wanted to move my service to my boyfriends network since a lot of my friends are on it too. And the background is Marawa the Magnficent! The color of her hoops are great and go with my phone. So really happy so far.
is COMPLETE. I've tested it out, it drags a bit and is sliding at the same time, will adjust and see what I can do about it or if it will be like a beachy type hoop. Or make a variation of the same hoop. But I'm not a crafty person, in fact, I hate it. So this is as crafty as it gets for me. Fabri-Tac is my kind of adhesive.
I think this sets the bar of how fun this wedding will be! Haha
