Moving! I'm not actually looking forward to the process; I'm looking forward to being moved out! haha We're getting ready to move into our own place! It's going to be ours and we're trying to make all these preparations to change the place the way we want it. I'm excited and ready to be there already!
Presents! I got a lot of really nice presents this year! I appreciate all of them and I'm really happy with them. The family really killed off a good portion of my to-buy list! haha Now I have to learn some stuff! haha
Christmas sales! I just bought Christmas ornaments for my tree next two years for $5.00! WOOT! I love end of the season sales where everything is 50% off! Worth it!
Last payments! I'm officially one payment off from OWNING my camera! YES! I just like being free of debt as fast as I can because it's very stressful to me.
Sweet potato pie! Okay, I forgot to bring the pie with me to Raleigh on Thanksgiving. Tom's parents kept for me in the freezer, wrapped up tightly. It is still delicious to my surprise! This is really a treat since it's almost NEW YEARS! I've been pigging out on it, as much as I can stand in one sitting.
New Years Eve! I'm looking forward to working this year, I have little star headband I plan to wear! It's totally cute! I hope to come up with a cute outfit to go with it!
Reading! I hurt myself with the hula hoop on Saturday. I took most of Sunday off after I realized I pulled a muscle and not just a little sore from hooping. I spent that night just reading my book, laying in bed. It was relaxing and made me see that I enjoy reading a good book in silence. I like visualizing the people in the story and how they speak.

I enjoyed this year a lot! It's been real. I hope 2009 is even better! I hope every year keeps getting better! :) But yeah, I enjoyed this December, so it was hard to decide what my favorites were. I'm just a truly happy person and this year really showed me that I'm a happy person. Anyway, Happy New Year everyone!
You won't believe it but this pie has been in the freezer since Thanksgiving and it still looks and tastes great! YAY! Oh, and it's sweet potato pie! MMM! It was really good!
I saw this last night and it made me laugh. I hope everyone had a safe and Merry holiday! I made out really well and plan to blog about it in a few days so I can get all my stuff together and take photos.
Neat, huh? I was scared of it because well, I'm afraid of busting bulbs, AND it hasn't been taped up yet. So there was no grip at all!
Next day breakfast! The next day I had breakfast with her (Dim Sum) and she picked out some delicious new things for me and my other friend to try. I had shrimp dumplings, shrimp longer dumplings with what looked like soy sauce but not sure, the sesame seed balls, and of course our usual pork fluffy buns (Gow). We were so full and happy. And it didn't cost us a ton more. Woo hoo!
Playlists! I never made playlists on my zune and now that I hoop, I made a playlist and it's fun to mess around with! I like it a lot, may try to make other playlists for my musicial moods.
Hot White Chocolate! It's a little chocolate and I use water for it so I'm not getting murdered by lactose. Anyway, it's pretty yummy and has been wonderful for these WAY cold days.
All Natural! I like going without makeup for a few days, though I may submit tomorrow and wear some. But I enjoyed going all fresh faced all by myself.
Sleeping in! I didn't get much sleep Sunday so I managed to sleep all of Monday away. It felt nice to be lazy since I'm out of town. I'm only a little sorry I didn't walk outside to watch the meteor shower last night. It was way too cold to be out there! Ouch!
Laying down, talking! My favorite thing to do with Tom. Lay down and talk about nothing and everything, be silly, be loving and talk serious issues, talk about things we saw, things that made us laugh, etc. We do it most of the time but we go a period where we might not do it as much and well, I just like it.
Christmas! I've been looking forward to Christmas all year! I bought a tree, I wrapped a lot of the presents, I exchanged some of mine early! I look forward to the dinner, the presents, the laughing, the excitement! It is stressful but worth it! I also enjoy photographing all the Christmas booty afterwards too! It's great!
I think this is all I'm going to do, I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow exactly but I wanna get my day on so I think I'm going to end this and go LIVE! haha
Tom makes me smile on stage and i got up early had dim sum! It was really really good. Those are the strangest balls. I had the doughy sticky parts before but this was really unique. Oh and Merry Christmas from The Brewery. I liked that touring bands have holiday spirit when far from home.
Is today.
So..I'm 25 as of yesterday and earlier that morning Tom brought in red velvet cake and sat it on the bar waiting for me to see and blow out the candles. I was hula hooping to the bands and distracting them mainly, and they sang me Happy Birthday after 12 AM. Awww. Then later the day my friends came to hang out with me and we ate at IHOP. My goal was to eat the sweetest thing I could find and I did. It was so sweet I couldn't eat it all. Then I had a buttery nipplpe which tasted similar to the pancakes but better since it was liquid! That's my favorite shot, btw. Anyway, I had a good one, my friends gave me a graphic picture novel called "The Arrival." The art is really pretty and I found it on a search for non-word picture books for our nephew and ended up liking the book myself! haha
We went to Edward McCay and bought some records, and I photographed some that made me laugh. I ended up buying Billie Holiday one, I absolutely love her voice! Anyway, check out Tom's record player: I got it for his birthday which is 8 days after mine. Its a USB record player by ION. Appears to sound good. Anyway, i bought myself some hot white chocolate and I will go enjoy that now!!
Oh and I LOVE MY HAIRCUT! I've never seen it until now and I just love it more now that I can see it like that! haha
