It's getting cold out there (NaBloPoMo Day 11)!
I am starting to love the winter because I get to layer on the clothing! I love the idea of staying warm in bundles of clothes. What are you doing to stay warm? These are two looks that are similar styles but different color schemes that I would lean towards.

I like to coordinate but I like to off shoot the boring with white headphones and TWIZZLERS! Twizzlers are great to munch on with the cold weather. Candy is great and horrible at these times. Horrible mainly because this is the prime time eating holidays. Great because it's addictive and not super sugary! I got a few of the items from Etsy, then looked for other places when I couldn't find things I wanted exactly. Also I really want a Mary Poppins bag in general but especially for this look. I have this vision of a military look with a strange bag of goodies. But this first look is the classic me. I'm not quite a girly girl or a tomboy. I'm also not quite the artsy type or a rock and roll chick. I think it's a very mixed cross between all. I'm inbetween all of these. I think the military-ish influence comes from growing up a Navy brat and just being around all the uniforms and all that. I am a sucker for old time things anyway especially military gear. This look for is for going out on solitary coffeeshop date (via the leave me the hell alone headphones!), doing your photographer/art thing in, going to grocery store.

This would be my girly look. However, this is a stretch from reality, I just went to dreaming of unlimited pairing up. I don't like to buy items that I can only use for one look. I want to be able to use all my items and well, I feel like pink gloves would never be used again. I realistically would have bought the black ones. I decided on smaller headphones because I was trying to not let the headphones overpower the hat unlike the look above. And I like how the teal is just completely different and your eye will go to the face because of that. I decided that the candy shouldn't overpower because I have such strong colors in there already so I don't need anymore competition. This outfit is a bit questionable because I feel it works in my brain but you know how the reality is as far as the textures go between the hat and the wool peacoat. But in my dream world, this will work because it's cashmere. And it sounds pretty when you say it. But I really like this for a date or a girl's night out or a formal get together. Because this is as formal as I get.
